Ksenia’s Favorite YA books of 2015

This post is so delayed. I intended to make a survey of my reading year back in December, but between my sick kids, moving my blog to a new platform and usual holiday rush, I just had no time.

I want to share with you my 2015 favorite books. I divided them into categories, so there would be two more posts: one about NA, Adult books and another about audiobooks.

Today I have a list of my favorite YA books.

I read a lot of backlist books last year; and I did something I’d meant to do for a long time, I finally read my first books by two amazing authors. Gayle Forman and Melina Marchetta blew me away. I know I would reread On the Jellicoe Road and If I Stay duology in my future. In some way I’m glad I was so late to read these books, because I have Melina Marchetta’s whole backlist and two more books by Gayle Forman to read.

Did you read many backlist books last year? Did you discover a new favorite author? Have you read any of these books?

  1. I read a lot of backlist books last year too! Which I’m REALLY glad about, because I read a lot that I’d been “meaning to” forever. XD But then it made me behind on 2015 releases?! So it’s just impossible to win, isn’t it? 😛 This year I’d like to focus on some more newer releases.

OHHHH I loved The Last Time We Say Goodbye! The US cover is so. much. nicer than the UK one. And If I Stay totally made me cry. I blame the audio book with the sad cello music. And endless love for The Distance Between Us. I thought I wouldn’t like that one? BUT SO MUCH SARCASM. <3
