My new blog

Hi, everyone! I’m so happy to finally welcome you on my new blog!

I started Ksenia’s Book Blog about two years ago. I dived head on into blogging without planning. I just wanted a place where I could post my book review. Those of you, who followed my old blog, know that design was pretty nonexistent, and I posted mostly book reviews with occasional discussions. And for a while it was enough. But lately I began to feel more and more unsatisfied. I realized I wanted my blog to be more personal, design and content-wise. Since I planned to move to WordPress, I made a decision not just move my blog, but make an entirely new one.

Something Delicate was in a test mode for a while, and I hadn’t realized that some of you already visited and commented on my new blog. I didn’t mean to ignore you, sorry for that!

And now about changes.

Design
I had an honor to work with an amazing designer Elena. Not only she is very talented, but she is also very responsive and nice person. She listened to all my ramblings (often incoherent and contradicting) and came up with this design in no time. More important she made a design that is totally ME.

Content
I’m changing the course. I want my blog to be more personal. Sometimes I have this feeling that I wear a mask, and my followers don’t know the real me at all. I’m not ready to say goodbye to my incognito status completely, but from now on there would be more personal posts here. I also plan to share with you my other hobbies: paper-crafting and pottery.

Let’s became friends
The main reason for all these changes: I want this blog to be my home, and I welcome you here. I want us to become friends.

Ksenia
xoxo

  1. Hi Ksenia! As for me, I do have a separate personal blog, but I don’t post there as much anymore (misswicked.org). It’s good to have an outlet, right? Welcome to your new home!

  2. It looks absolutely lovely Ksenia, so earthy and gorgeous! I think we all go through through that transformation with our blogs, as we end up different people as we grow and our blogs just can’t accommodate us the way we want. Oh you should have seen me when I first started, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know any bloggers or that there was a community out there (although I think it’s a lot stronger and widely known now). I’m thrilled that you’re finally spreading your wings now poppet, and that you’re taking us all along with you <3
